Consejos al volante 1. Lleva siempre una postura cómoda al volante. Te permitirá maniobrar con el mínimo esfuerzo y la mayor rapidez. 2. Ajusta la banqueta para que, con el embrague pisado a fondo, nuestras piernas estén ligeramente flexionadas. 3. Mientras conduces, no olvides descansar tu pie izquierdo sobre el paso de rueda. Te ayudará a sujetarte mejor en las curvas. 4. La altura ideal de la banqueta es la que te permite una visión perfecta al tiempo que estás lo más abajo posible. El respaldo debe colocarse de la manera más vertical posible. 5. La postura de las manos es muy importante. Sitúalas en la parte superior del aro del volante, como si marcaran las 10 y 10 en un reloj. 6. Abróchate siempre el cinturón de seguridad. Tira de la banda diagonal de abajo hacia arriba para que la cinta quede tensa. 7. El reposa-cabezas es un elemento de seguridad muy importante. Intenta que su borde superior coincida con nuestra nuca. 8. En marcha, presta siempre mucha atención a la carretera. Hay que estar preparado para cualquier imprevisto: desprendimiento de piedras, manchas de aceite, charcos de agua… 9. Evita los excesos de confianza al volante. Te pueden costar más de un disgusto. 10. Al entrar en una curva, disminuye la velocidad y sitúate en el exterior del carril, sin sobrepasarlo,claro. ... Una vez en el interior de un viraje, nunca frenes ni aceleres. El vehículo está en tensión y hay una distribución desigual de las fuerzas. ... Al salir de una curva, justo cuando el coche comienza a "enderezarse" , fija bien la vista en la carretera. ... Ahora puedes acelerar.
